We bought two of these mirrors for a recent bathroom renovation and they look great. I wired them up and gave them their own switch so they can operate independently of each other and the bathroom overhead light. So why not five stars? Here's why: 1. While they look great and are exactly what we wanted, at $300 each, they're just too expensive for what they are.2. After installing it, I couldn't figure out how to turn on the anti-fog (the instructions are generally pretty bad), so I emailed the seller (he was extremely responsive, btw) and found out that the anti-fog is -fog always on when the mirror light is on. It seems strange to me; Does this cause the device to wear out faster? How much more energy does it consume?3. they are heavy I read the reviews before purchasing and this was one of the recurring comments. So I bought them early in the project, found that they were actually very heavy, and added 2 x 4 studs to the wall where they were going to be hung. I can't imagine hanging them on drywall with hollow wall anchors.
