This is a great article, especially if you are building your own PC. However, the front and rear dimensions are slightly smaller. The mounting screw hole (only one) is on the right side (when looking at the front panel from the front) for mounting. This means you need to access the PC case from the right side to install the mounting screw. Not as much. 2, the more important problem is that 1) there is no mounting hole OR screw for the side most visible during installation (left side). And 2) front and rear dimensions. I'm building a PC with the Cougar Panzer Max. And the front panel depth of this card reader doesn't even reach half of the 5.25-inch optical drive bay. When inserting a card, there is a flexible bar on the left side of this card reader that allows this device to move inward. , Not very calming or attractive. The shallow depth and only one side to attach this card reader makes it uncomfortably flexible and unreliable in installation position. My suggestion would be to just make the outer casing "longer" to fit more securely in the optical drive bay. And add a mounting hole and screw for the left side. If there are ways to strengthen this bracket, I'm open to suggestions.
