USB Type-C connection, there is no way to connect it on the motherboard and it does not indicate where and how to connect . When an adapter or PCI card is required. If you buy this front panel, make sure your motherboard supports it and you have all the necessary connectors for it.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Good, but not very good

Oculus Quest works with connecting cable.

USB-C works with my Oculus Quest and connection cable. The only problem is that the ribbon cable connecting the 20-pin USB-C connector to the motherboard is too short. I have this stupid ribbon cable running diagonally across my motherboard and interfering with the RGB. I don't care because my computer is under my desk, but I can't help but think it would be better if I could run it behind my phone. I can't find any extensions online.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • No power

Gen 2 Type C not working with update

Bought to read CF, additional USB 3 ports and Type C port worked. I bought a type-c connector/plate for the back of the computer and it works, so it's not my motherboard. Update 2/7/20: EZDIY-DAP sent an email asking how my purchase went. I told them the Gen 2 Type C connection wasn't working and they sent me a new card reader. The second works perfectly. Good customer service!

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • A little torn

Great dyno accessory

I test and rebuild motherboards on the side and this is the perfect accessory for testing all the different USB ports on a motherboard without having to use a lot of different parts. Everything works great and functionally smoothly. USB sticks and memory cards have enough stability to slide in and out without scratching or wobbling. I don't have a case with a slot for it, so I'm trying to figure out a way to fit a second one into my desk to use as my main computer.

Pros
  • Great choice
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

USB 3.0 port not backward compatible

The build quality is satisfactory considering the price, not very good but acceptable. Unfortunately, I'm having an issue where USB 2.0 memory sticks (and older) don't work over a USB 3.0 port. The USB 3.0 port only reads USB 3.0 sticks and devices - it is not backwards compatible as stated in the description. (Windows 10 returns an error when a USB 2.0 device is plugged into a USB 3.0 port.) You would expect a USB 3.0 port to be able to read any USB 2.0 device without problems. (Yes, I could…

Great device! Just a few notes on this one

This was a smart buy for people like me who need TONS of I/O because I keep getting new devices on my computer to try which is kind of a bad habit, but oh well, it was easy to install, the bracket was a bit annoying because the screw holes didn't seem right at first glance, it was just difficult to line them up, and all the connectors worked as intended. Note that the USB 2.0 ports are on TWO full-size 9-pin connectors, and most mobile devices I've seen only fit two TOTAL. So if your case is…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Clarity

Coming soon

This is a great article, especially if you are building your own PC. However, the front and rear dimensions are slightly smaller. The mounting screw hole (only one) is on the right side (when looking at the front panel from the front) for mounting. This means you need to access the PC case from the right side to install the mounting screw. Not as much. 2, the more important problem is that 1) there is no mounting hole OR screw for the side most visible during installation (left side). And 2)…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Almost everything included

Works as advertised

Bought for a new computer case which I needed a memory card reader for. I chose the EZDIY-FAB Memory Card Reader Combo Box as their product page seemed to have many USB memory card readers. are listed on it (so I figured they had some experience with this type of hardware). So far I've tested multiple USB 2.0 ports, USB 3.0, and an SD card reader. Everything worked fine with Windows 10 without drivers installed manually (maybe with Win10. But I didn't see anything installed, so it only worked…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
