Review on EZDIY FAB Internal Reader Support Computer by Kyle Hood

The build quality is satisfactory considering the price, not very good but acceptable. Unfortunately, I'm having an issue where USB 2.0 memory sticks (and older) don't work over a USB 3.0 port. The USB 3.0 port only reads USB 3.0 sticks and devices - it is not backwards compatible as stated in the description. (Windows 10 returns an error when a USB 2.0 device is plugged into a USB 3.0 port.) You would expect a USB 3.0 port to be able to read any USB 2.0 device without problems. (Yes, I could just plug a USB 2.0 device into one of the USB 2.0 ports, but the non-functionality doesn't inspire confidence in this product.) I haven't returned the device (yet) because I suspect it's a driver is output. I have reached out to the company to recommend a USB 3.0 driver for W10 64-bit and will update the review if the issue is resolved or I return it. Now I rate it 2 stars because it only partially works.
