A weird (and admittedly somewhat forced) Star Wars reference aside, this is a much prettier moon than my previous one for the same price. Actually better than I expected! First the materials. I like that the materials are listed accurately. For example, it says that the base is made of wood. After my last experience with the moon, I got curious and decided to check it out. You should see in my photo where I scratched the base a bit with a knife. AHA! This is really a tree fine! Not just wood grain plastic like I expected! For the record, I don't care what the article is as long as it's consistent with what's on the list. In an age of misleadingly worded lists or outright lies, it's nice to see legitimate information! Well, they have a bunch of crappy photoshops they use, but that's kind of the norm and I can see why. As for me, I'd prefer they just take a picture of the one in the warehouse/factory than photoshop the one sitting in Martha Stewart's kitchen, but I get it. The moon is made from standard PLA like any 3D printer. The rest is metal. By the way, about metal. I can say that it is durable! See, I've accidentally dropped this thing a few times while moving it around to find the perfect home for it. Neither the moon nor anything else is broken =) I wish there were different colors and different lighting effects, but could I really? Stuff like that looks cool, but it's not something I want to do all the time. The soft white light this piece emits is great for a night lamp or other low-intensity light source. No, I wouldn't try to read it, do anything or anything, but it's basically enough to see. But! It's not just a fancy light with a cool floating moon! It's also a wireless charger. Works with any device (phone, tablet, Paladin's Scepter of Joy, power bank, etc.) that supports wireless charging. Creates the perfect bedside lamp! The levitating/rotating effect is absolutely mesmerizing. I literally sat and watched it for 10 minutes for no reason, but how cool is that! Additionally, if you've read any of my other reviews, you'll understand how important this is. I haven't taken it apart to use in other projects OR find obscene uses for it! And I don't plan to β₯ The price is a bit oO for what is basically a night light and wireless charger, but how much is "cool" to you? I believe you can get a lamp with a wireless charger for about $25, so what does that mean? Can I recommend it? Is that "Oh my god, that's so cool!" from everyone seeing it cost $75 to you? If so, then yes, you need it! If it's cool, then it's not cool for you. You're probably not looking at the floating moonlight at all, amirite?
