I am hesitant to leave a bad review because I do not know much about splints, but this one did not work for me and my specific injury. I wear a Womens size 5-6 and ordered a small. It Doesn’t feel too big so much as it feels loose in the wrong area. The base of the ankle is where I need support, and this brace feels loose there, with no ability to tighten that specific area. It doesn’t seem to be made for acute support in all directions, maybe more of a strict left/right support for larger ankle rolls/injuries. If you need upper ankle support and/or have bigger feet than I, it may work for you. I didn’t wear it long but it didn’t seem overtly uncomfortable, came intact, and appears to be decent craftsmanship.
