The ink cartridge was not recognized by the printer

My printer did not recognize this ink cartridge. I've installed and reinstalled and even restarted my printer multiple times, and nothing. I watched a video on YouTube of a guy swapping the chip on ink cartridges from an old cartridge for a new one. I tried it and it worked!
