Review on Gibson Home Zen Buffet Dinnerware Set, Service for Four, 16-Piece, White (Square) by Richard Basque

Dinner plates measure 9-1/4" in diameter and 10-5/8" corner to corner. They're smaller than a regular dinner plate, but that might not be a bad thing when you think about it. The cups are smaller than stated. I measured 12 ounces. water and filled one of the cups to the brim and the water stayed. So the number is around 11 ounces. Liquids. If you're using Keurig, your coffee will be fine, but you may not have room to add cream. I'm disappointed in the size but I like the simplicity and casual elegance of the design so I'll keep the set and buy more. Keep in mind that the glaze will not be perfect and small bubbles will form on 2 of the 4 plates. It's not an obvious defect, but it seems like Gibson Home should be working on a fix. This would be an excellent set if they could improve their quality control and increase the size of the plate and mug a bit. Then he would rate 5 stars instead of the 4 they got today.
