Review on Acoustic Audio HT 85 Ceiling Theater by Kim Scott

Bought these speakers for my home cinema ceiling. This was difficult to install as the template is smaller than it should be. Since my ceiling is black I also painted the grille and frame to match as unfortunately they only come in white. The biggest mistake I made was installing and removing them before actually testing the product. After everything was hooked up (and I have a lot of experience in this area) I found that one of the speakers (MT-6) was defective and my receiver turned itself off, which stops as soon as I unplug the speaker. Unfortunately, I cannot return these speakers because I have already painted them and do not want to remove the other 4 speakers that were already installed. I think I'll just take the hit and buy another type of speaker of roughly the same size and impedance. Save yourself the headache and spend a little more for a good set.
