Recommended for GDI and Turbo engines

Let me start Oil separator should be recommended if your engine is direct fuel injected or turbocharged. My truck is a 2007 Tacoma 4.0L V6 Prerunner that has run over 250,000 mics with no issues. This is my second oil separator installation. I like that the dipstick makes it easy to check the oil level. I felt the price of this one was cheaper and better quality than my old one. I would recommend buying a bronze filter for the best results. The mounting bracket has small holes that make it difficult to install my truck's bolts. My truck has a high gas mileage - 20.5 in combination with big tires and 3 inch lift, yes it's possible. As a chemical engineer, I would recommend any oil separator for all direct injection gasoline engines. The idea is that you want clean air in the combustion chamber with a high air-fuel ratio. The higher the number, the more power and efficiency you get. So if you can remove the oil so it doesn't get into your engine, your engine can run on less fuel per gallon and carbon build-up is prevented. and CRC or some sort of intake cleaner through another hose fed into your engine intermittently over time. If you can remove most of the carbon from the consumption figures, it makes a big difference. Oil separators are designed to prevent oil from entering the engine and slow the formation of carbon deposits. Every car is unique so I would recommend researching your car first. If you have a new car, I'll install it right away. I am installing one on my 2021 KIA Telluride. Important tip: The IN and OUT markings on the oil separator are reversed. The PVC pipe must be connected on the opposite side to the filter. Otherwise, your PCV line will become clogged and build up pressure.
