Description of ๐Ÿš€ SPEEDWOW Universal Blue Oil Catch Can Tank with Micron Bronze Baffled Filter and Hose Kit: Enhance Engine Performance

Keep Engine Clean: The baffle system in the tank could catch the oil and moisture from PCV/CCV air, prevent misfires due to carbon accumulation, keep the engine clean and prolongs engine life. The oil catch can have a low micron bronze filter which is nice and there is also a larger baffle. Bronze filter better filter all kinds of fine impurities. The large baffle in the tank could cool hot oil vapor in a larger area and turn into liquid and catching the more oil. NBR 3/8" Fuel Line: Excellent oil resistance (resistance to mineral oil, liquid fuel), high wear resistance, good heat resistance. You don't need to buy an additional hose. Material: The oil catch can be made of high quality T6061 aluminum material. Aluminum alloy is characterized by fast heat dissipation to facilitate the collection of more oil. Enhanced strength and Durability, anodized finish body presents a fashion appearance. WARRANTY- SPEEDWOW provides oil catch can have a 4-month warranty. If you have any other problem, contacting us and we will serve you within 24 hours.

Every penny is worth: Parts

I have a Hyundai Veloster with a GDI engine and this product has saved my engine from dealing with tons of junk. I want to buy earlier. Supplied with o-rings, steel wool, multiple connectors. Buy a 3/8 fuel hose, the hose included in the kit is not suitable for the fuel hose. I drain the oil every time I change the oil. I usually take 4 to 5 ounces of liquid. I'm so glad this liquid isn't leaking back into my engine. I cut the hose that came with the kit into a 10" section and use that to start

  • GOLS certified

small small: fuel system

For a Chinese catch, just what it should be. it's about half the size of the catch cans I'm used to, smaller than a can of soda pop. and the "inlet" and "exhaust" labels are swapped for what I'm going to use them for (not sure why you're filtering the incoming air and letting it exit right next to the vent filter. The air needs to be filtered as it exits to allow the trap to absorb oil and other shocks). Also throw away the hose that comes with the kit. It's clean and only gets very dirtyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Disappear

Swap inlet and outlet hoses to ensure they function correctly.

The separator is as described and includes everything needed for installation. This is a good product. The only thing I noticed is that the entrance and exit are labeled the other way around. Air must be drawn in through the open inlet and filtered through the bronze filter at the outlet. This will prevent material from entering the engine as it builds up in the tank. If you weigh it as the label says, you are filtering the inlet and this will cause material to build up in the hose. You wantโ€ฆ

  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Not sure

Hmm, a little hose. best in parts

Comes with tiny hose, causes vacuum problems in large systems. Check your car. (Do not use a closed system like this if you are using any type of supercharger or turbocharger. You would burn out the seals and have to overhaul the engine.) (You will need a system with a pressure relief filter as these intake systems are built to increase pressure.) Use You don't have an open system even for cars without a turbo/supercharger, you lose the necessary vacuum and your engine runs like crap. Oversized

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • No automatic

UPDATED REVIEW! about the fuel system

Solid construction. Looks good and looks simple. They offer you extra steel wool, which is cool. I don't know if it ever needs to be changed or what, but I like it. I didn't use the hose that came with it, I used a standard 3/8 fuel hose. I am happy to report that this trap container is airtight and will not leak or leak vacuum. I'm running this on an always thirsty ls4 engine with DOD disabled. Over time I will update the results by "filtering". UPDATE: I take back all the good things I saidโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Cheaper than branded tin cans. but does the job

Installed on a 2018 Sonata Sport 2.0 T with 32,000 miles, The catch can is strong and looks well made, There are voids in the can when it is being painted. Appearance is impeccable. I had to drill additional holes on the included bracket so I could mount it on the car. Connection designations are incorrect. The PCV should go to OUT and the brass side of the filter (IN) to the intake manifold. I sprayed soapy water on the outside of all threaded points (IN and OUT, dipstick and canister) withโ€ฆ

  • Satisfied so far

Detailed instructions required/recommended

I was very pleased to have purchased this for my 17 Ford F-150 2.7L Ecoboost. The first problem was that there were no instructions to properly show you how to complete the task. So here is how to install.1. Locate your PCV line, disconnect it, completely remove this line, once removed it should have a brown hole. 2. Disconnect intake manifold pipe completely and set aside.3. Take some white kevlar tape and wrap the threads on the hose connectors that screw onto the can! Then insert them intoโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Recommended for GDI and Turbo engines

Let me start Oil separator should be recommended if your engine is direct fuel injected or turbocharged. My truck is a 2007 Tacoma 4.0L V6 Prerunner that has run over 250,000 mics with no issues. This is my second oil separator installation. I like that the dipstick makes it easy to check the oil level. I felt the price of this one was cheaper and better quality than my old one. I would recommend buying a bronze filter for the best results. The mounting bracket has small holes that make itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are new competitors
