Solid construction. Looks good and looks simple. They offer you extra steel wool, which is cool. I don't know if it ever needs to be changed or what, but I like it. I didn't use the hose that came with it, I used a standard 3/8 fuel hose. I am happy to report that this trap container is airtight and will not leak or leak vacuum. I'm running this on an always thirsty ls4 engine with DOD disabled. Over time I will update the results by "filtering". UPDATE: I take back all the good things I said about this product. It seems that this latch cannot meet the requirements of the LS4 engine. Now I have an oil leak and VACUUM in the PCV valve. YES, the vacuum is where I'm supposed to release the pressure. The only thing I can conclude is that while driving, the trap couldn't move that intake pressure fast enough. The pressure rose to a critical level and somewhere pierced the seal. I really hope this is an easy fix. I'll definitely get it out of my head. General note: If you are looking at traps, you should NOT buy a trap with a venting element. This allows the vacuum to leak and your transmission to run lean, reducing performance and economy. Be sure to purchase such a sealed product.
