Review on Crescent 101 Piece General Purpose Tool Set, SAE & Metric - CTK101 by Fred Maki

First impressions were very positive - the case had a reassuringly solid feel and heft.Second impressions were of annoyance - the lid was held in place by an exceedingly short zip-tie that was frustratingly difficult to cut through.Third impressions were a mix - the tools felt very well constructed and were comfortable to use, the quality is pretty decent and the variety is perfect for my most common tasks. One quibble is that the supplied screwdriver is not of the ratcheting kind.Its biggest fail is from an organization standpoint - most of the parts absolutely refuse to go back into their assigned places. The pliers stay loose, and the smaller pieces rattle around with the slightest jolt. Given that some of these loose pieces can be very heavy, there is a penalty for opening it without care. This is very unfortunate, as I was really looking forward to using this as my go-to set from grab-and-go errands.
