Nice tool set. for my opinion

Whether you want to keep this Crescent CTK101 101-Piece Homeowners Set in your home or in your car's trunk, this is a pretty nice tool set for most common needs. This wouldn't be a toolset for a professional, but for a homeowner, it has just about all you'd need to fix, repair or put together something. Although they have needle-nosed pliers, where are the regular pliers? There are quite a few different screwdriver bits and wrench bits that should fit a multitude of screws and bolts and nuts. I

This kit was for my girlfriend. It's not Snap-On but it is good quality with a good name behind it.

This kit is well worth the money. Cheaper the Harbor Freight's off-brand but much nicer.Finish is nice, plier joints work very well, not something you normally get in this pricepoint.

Almost great for my opinion

First impressions were very positive - the case had a reassuringly solid feel and heft.Second impressions were of annoyance - the lid was held in place by an exceedingly short zip-tie that was frustratingly difficult to cut through.Third impressions were a mix - the tools felt very well constructed and were comfortable to use, the quality is pretty decent and the variety is perfect for my most common tasks. One quibble is that the supplied screwdriver is not of the ratcheting kind.Its biggest…

Product was used for my opinion

I very much like the toolset, Crescent is a good product, but the set I ordered states "new", the one I received was used. There was a sticker on the box saying "thanks for giving this product a second life". The case clearly shows scuffs and is obvious it is not new. I did reach out to the seller, but have not heard back. I intended to give this as a gift, so I returned it.

Great tool set to keep at home, in the garage or even in your truck. Good quality. Seems like it will last quite a while. Happy with this.

Bad design for keeping the tools in the case.

I did not like this took set. First the tools and case are well made. However, the sockets and other tools are not held in place, so when you open the case, especially upside down the tools scatter every where. Second, the sockets only go up to 7/16, the wrenches up to 9/16 and the ratchet wrench is only 1/4. All too small for any meaningful work.

This is a great starter set of tools for the new home owner, someone who just got their first apartment, a dorm room, or even a young kid who wants "serious" tools for their birthday or Christmas so they can start building things.
