This card reader has allowed me to upgrade/replace a 64GB micro SDXC card with a 128GB micro SDXC card on a 7th gen Fire HD 10 tablet without having to reinstall all downloaded apps and content. Although I had to move apps back to internal storage first (this is a Fire OS issue and in no way affects the usefulness of this product in moving back over 40GB of e-books, family videos, photos and MP3s from CDs I own and which I bought from other sources). The transfer went quickly. Some of the videos I've made over the years and the ability to put a fast SD card in this reader to copy 3-4GB files to a new, larger micro SDXC makes this purchase more than worth it.
