The handles are so large that they are difficult to remove after use
The concept of these ties is great. They may work well for large items, but I bought them for bread. Once firm, it's almost impossible to apply enough force to pry them open to free the bread beater. Tried a few things and had to insert an ice ax to clear space. I think maybe the handles are too big. I'll keep them for myself, but I'm not sure I'll find any other use for them. Since they didn't work I looked up the old style I was using and was glad I was able to find and order them. They are similar but without handles. They hold on and that's great.
