Nice enough but too long.
This is nice and gives some security if you are parking expensive kayaks in the hotel lot overnight. They are slightly longer for both the 12' (28') wide pleasure kayak and the 14' (24') wide transition kayak. I had to wrap the cord around the stand several times to make them secure. As a versatile product I think this is what you should expect and too long is better than too short but I wish they had a better length adjustment method to make them safer.
