In general, the fan is quite decent. It was relatively easy to install and I like the wired connector which is easy to connect with just two wires as I find it a bit fiddly to play with electricity. Out of the box, the fan motor feels very solid and heavy, but the fan blades feel a bit cheap and flimsy. Perhaps that's where the next downside comes from - I wish this fan could blow a little more air, especially since it's 10 RPM. In my opinion that's too much, five fan speeds would be more than enough. After installation, the fan works perfectly. I love that the lighting set has both warm and cool and natural light settings. The board is excellent. I haven't set it up as a smart fan and don't intend to, so I don't have opinions on that, but I've heard good things, although some apps recognize it as three devices instead of one. In general I can recommend.
