Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ Efficient Solar-Powered 11-in-1 Battery Charger by C.Crane by Eric Stewart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works as expected with jump starters, chargers and portable power supplies

I have had this charger for almost 3 years now and absolutely love it. I am a cyclist and often use battery powered flashlights. I also live in a place where the power can go out for many hours and having battery powered lights in the home is a must. I've charged the batteries dozens of times. Compared to buying disposable batteries, it definitely paid off. Electricity to charge my batteries would cost minimal, but I would like to know that the light illuminating the road ahead is stored sunlight with a very small carbon footprint. Also, I can charge batteries when the power goes out or when I'm not at home. This works well on a car trip if you don't want to buy a lot of batteries. For hiking it's probably lighter and definitely more compact just for carrying around spare batteries. I used to live in a shady spot with patchy sun where it wasn't very efficient and charged all day, but now I'm in full sun. and can reliably charge 2 AA or AAA batteries in 3-4 hours if I move it in the sun about every hour. The charger definitely works best outdoors in bright sunshine and not through a window. I even charged the batteries under a grow light but it took 2 days to charge. If you use a lot of batteries, this is a good investment. I have charged both Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it.
