I've never been a fan of stun collars, but I had to give up a few things. We couldn't even walk around the house without being attacked by our Bernedoodle puppy. She would have said no, but when she realized I wasn't listening, she would eat us alive. I like that there are three settings: beep, vibrate and shock, and shock blocking. I've only had to use Shock a few times. It was an accident the first time (I thought it was locked but it wasn't), needless to say it caught her attention very quickly and one hit stopped her Velociraptor mode. Once again, she didn't respond to a beep or vibration. Now most of the time I can use the beep and she will answer. If not, I press the vibrate button once and it stops and comes back to me. This collar was God sent for my stubborn puppy and I recommend it to anyone with a stubborn puppy/dog. With him we saw a change in her overnight. The battery lasts a very long time. I have to recharge every 2-3 weeks. At night I take them off and now in the morning when I grab them, they come up to me and wait in front of me for me to put them on.
