I've been doing a little work on vintage bikes and need a tool for different sized fork seals as I never know what's going to hit the shop. The first job I used them for was a modern day Honda VTX1800 and the kit worked exactly as expected. I would imagine that using a zip tie around the drivetrain/holder (which also holds the two halves together) on the forks would make things a bit easier, but aside from the compression seals, it's probably not necessary. If I were a high volume mechanic I might have gone for a slightly higher quality set, but for casual use this set should be fine for me. It doesn't break the bank and should be flexible enough for all the sizes I'm likely to run into.
