What appealed to me about this ice shaver is that you can use ice cubes from the freezer instead of some other models I've looked at that have to freeze a huge block of ice in front of you can use it. So this is a great convenience. It was ready to be plugged in and used (although you'll have to run through a couple of laps of ice first to make sure it's clean). Overall I would say this product works well, is easy to use and is value for money. If you have any problem, customer service is fast and efficient, very helpful.
