Still in the process of evaluating these two hubs. One was for the new Apple Mac 27 desktop with Mojave and two USB-C ports, and the other was for an old Mac that only had three USB 2.0 ports, requiring a USB>USB-C adapter. In both cases, things like a USB stick and memory card reader were accepted and worked well. and connecting an external My Passport hard drive caused an "insufficient power" pop-up. I will keep these two hubs for smaller needs but wish they had such an externally powered device to allow such connections when needed.
