I used this kit to attach the clasps (they worked very well, I just had to use fabric glue to secure the backs a bit - https://smile.amazon.com/ccHuDE -Toggle- Closure - Jackets-Clothing/dp/B08L9KSD9R/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=ccHuDE%2B6%2BSets%2BSew-On%2BToggle%2BClosure&qid=1623967922&sr=8-1&th=1) on a sheepskin coat. Awl, needles and coated thread are strong and hold up well. Piercing through (thick) faux leather and sheepskin was easy. Definitely recommend!
