I thought I'd branch out a bit from the usual black-framed sunglasses I usually get and went with the white frame/blue lens. The bad thing about my choice, is that the white frame really enhances the "unique" shape of the lens frame. Not sure what to call it exactly, but the part of the frame underneath each lens is curved a bit more dramatically than what it really looks like in the images the company shows. I can only describe the shape as "cartoonish". Like when a cartoon character is so happy, their eyes get huge but their cheeks are scrunched up high with an ecstatic grin. Anyway, I doubt it'd be less noticeable with a dark frame, but on my face, these things just look weird. The frame is also overly noticeable in my peripheral vision - all the way around each eye. Kind of annoying, really. Are there any positives with these sunglasses? - yes. The build quality is decent for an under-$20 pair (currently they're 14$, I think) and the lenses are nice and clear. The hinges are pretty hefty (much better than the gas-station brands and others that are $20 to $25). They fit pretty well but there is a little pressure from the arms, directly above my ears. They're light and stay on my face very well. However, I haven't worn them out playing/exercising when I'm sweating to death so I'm not sure on the grip when your face is soaked.Overall, they're seemingly well built but, in the words of my wife "they look stupid on you". I'd have to agree - at least for my face. Some people can pull off weird shaped frames, but I clearly am not one of those people. At least not with the white ones.
