Review on Stride Rite Toddler Athletic Sneaker Girls' Shoes and Athletic by Robert White

So disappointed.

I'm usually a huge Striderite fan and I've lost count of the number of pairs we've bought over the years. This pair caught my attention. My son chose them from several options I showed him and I bought them. These shoes let me down and frankly pissed me off. I didn't know they were glowing shoes until my son put them on. Granted I should have read the detailed description but I'm a busy mom and missed the product name and picture. It's Striderite so I felt confident in my purchase. That is, until they caught fire at my sons' feet. I despise glowing shoes. You're giving me a headache. Of course, when my son told me that they had lights, it was already too late. He loved her and wouldn't let her go. Instead, in a really boyish way, he ran through the mud almost immediately, exhausting my chances of sneakily getting her back. Normally it would be nice if he loved them so much, but he can't wear them to school because they provoke children with seizure disorders and autism. We should be his schools. That was the only reason I bought them. I also spent more than I wanted because I trusted the brand. I then had to turn around and shell out more money to buy a decent pair of boots that he could actually wear outside of our yard. Of course I chose a different brand. I gave them 2 stars because they look nice when off and my kid loves the backlight. If this is your thing then it would be great for you and your loved ones. Strider, please give us a chance to turn off the light in your shoes. Any Strider mom will thank you.
