I love that Inkbird put this combo together for us. Using PIDs for different brewing steps isn't new, but they've made it easy to get them with just one click for a very reasonable price. The solid state relay is powerful enough for almost any need, and the PID controller is as robust as you would expect. Adding a heatsink is a great thing. It's not needed for anything like a refrigerator, but is needed to manage mashing or cooking. As for the features, I found them intuitive and easy to use. Inkbird customized it for brewers and this product is as good as I've come to expect from them.
