Replacement iPad mini 2 purchase made. The tablet is now a bomb since the release of the iPad mini 2. Fire in the display: vivid hues and adequate contrast (I don't dial it down to the minimum). Compared to the iPad mini 2, the screen is a huge improvement. I used it primarily as a gaming aid. War Robots, a (very) demanding game, runs well on it, however it freezes up on my iPad mini 2 (and my friend's iPad mini 4). In spite of my heavy use (far longer than on iPad mini 2), the battery life has been excellent. Functions without pauses or delays. It gets only mildly warm, which is great because excessive heat quickly drains a battery. In theory, it's easy to grip and not too heavy, albeit the tiny is preferable. When I saw how much the screen would set me back (on Ali 9000, it's a fake), and how easily it may be broken while replacing the battery, I rapidly changed my mind about purchasing the product. This tablet has met all of my expectations.
