As an electronic engineer I do a lot of soldering. Since many of the circuits I create use integrated circuits and my soldering iron has a pencil tip, I prefer to use small diameter solder to avoid annoying solder bridges that are difficult to avoid with larger diameter solder. I ran out of rosin solder so I ordered this Affei Sn60/Pb40 0.8mm Solder Wire. This solder flows well at lower soldering temperatures, is better suited for soldering printed circuit boards and semiconductor devices, and has an ideal flux-to-solder ratio. what I like. I think the true test of solder quality is how it withstands reheating and reflow (machining) which can result in a brittle solder joint that breaks during service. This solder is very easy to repair. Overall I am very happy with this lot and will order in the future. Very good wire for the price. I highly recommend it.
