Works. I've only tested him in my living room, but when he works here he has to work outside on a dewy night. The usual mount, which involves connecting the included cable via a USB-to-RS-232 adapter, feels clunky and archaic, and seems like a potential source of error when you're lying on the grass waiting to be stepped on or getting wet with dew . Or coffee. This new cable looks as good as any, is longer than I can imagine and works. Also, I now have a backup. . .Always good when you are away from home in a place with dark skies. It took a month to get here from China - hey Letotech, can't you do better? - But the wait was worth it. I'm hoping if a few more of us buy it they might put a little extra money into shipping. However, I am grateful to Letotech for making it for us and would recommend it if you have an iOptron EQ mount that requires it.
