I bought this to use as a wireless flash receiver but I found a much better use - I connected it to my camera's remote port and used the transmitter I came with the flash kit for the remote shutter to take a picture of the moon - my tripod isn't good enough to hold my D7500 and Nikon 200-500mm lens without moving, so I kept the grip on the tripod and used it to take the picture without moving. in the chamber.
