Easy and cheap. Do one thing and do it well.

The best low cost trigger on the market. Works great for remote flash control. I even connected it to my power bank so my flashes can be remotely triggered with the cable that came with it. It does NOT do High Speed Sync (HSS) and does not allow you to add groups. You also cannot remotely control flash/strobe settings such as flash output. So if you just want the ability to remotely turn on the flash/strobe without needing those options, this is a perfect choice.

Pros
  • Wireless frequency system: 2.4 GHz
Cons
  • Expandable

but I found a much better use - I connected it to my camera remote.

I bought this to use as a wireless flash receiver but I found a much better use - I connected it to my camera's remote port and used the transmitter I came with the flash kit for the remote shutter to take a picture of the moon - my tripod isn't good enough to hold my D7500 and Nikon 200-500mm lens without moving, so I kept the grip on the tripod and used it to take the picture without moving. in the chamber.

Pros
  • NOTE: CAMERA AND FLASH IS NOT INCLUDED

  • No

Pictured item was not received

I bought it a while ago I like it and it works very well OK. I would recommend it but I needed a replacement and didn't get the right product. Instead I received an FC-16R trigger (https://www.amazon.com/Neewer-Channels-Wireless-Trigger-Compatible/dp/B08BHWQK1F) which is not compatible with the FC-16 shown here. I'm not sure if it was a shipping error or if the ad is wrong. Update: I ordered a second FC-16 from another seller and again received an FC-16R (link above) which is NOT compatible…

but I found a much better use - I connected it to my camera remote.

I bought this to use as a wireless flash receiver, but found a much better use - I plugged it into my camera's remote port and used the transmitter I had with the flash to set the shutter trigger when taking pictures from a distance. Moon photos - my tripod isn't good enough to hold my D7500 and Nikon 200-500mm lens without moving, so I grabbed the tripod handle and used it to take the shot without closing the camera move.

  • Vulgarity
