I bought two of these. The plastic that the cones go through doesn't work like it should. As you fill the container, the cones will fall out until it's only half full (not that difficult). There is no lid on the bottom so I put a ziplock bag on the bottom at night to keep the flies from getting into the cones and to keep them from getting stale. A lid, like a coffee can, is sufficient. However, I couldn't find a coffee can that was the right size, and I didn't have to. It should have come with him. As for the convenience of having the cones easily accessible, I like that.
