I actually ordered these to go with a costume. I needed a dark pair of hiking boots and did not want steel toe. These were way more comfortable than I expected them to be and I walked about 3 miles in them one night while taking my son trick or treating. My feet never ached and they stayed warm and dry. I really like them and recommend. Construction and materials are good, so I expect they will last a long while. The fit is also true to size.
