this is a pretty good little case but it is about 3/8 inch too thin for a good protective garmin etrex carrying case. when the case is closed, the switch on the top of the etrex is accidentally and unintentionally pressed. So the case isn't great for carrying the Etrex, but it's a decent case so I'll keep it and use it for something else. I have a cheap foldable flip phone that I take with me on my bike rides and it fits very well in a case. I'm not particularly dissatisfied with the purchase, but the case really isn't designed for etrex. I'll just repurpose for another piece of small electronics that will fit better.
