Works very well on my 2010 Mini Cooper S. I managed to fit/register a new battery, bought in a big box at a car dealership. You cannot change any of the battery settings in the BM700, so you will need to purchase a battery that is identical or slightly more powerful than the battery you are replacing. Examine the errors found. I had to take screenshots of the BM700 on my phone. The manual would also use a little more explanation. It found that my rear window heater was off, a lightbulb had burned out, some problems with the oil pressure sensor and so on. All in all I would recommend all Mini Cooper owners to get this tool. As others have said, finding problems and then fixing and clearing codes is great.
