Review on 🔩 Mueller Industries 1.5 inch PVC Union, 1.5-Inch SXS by Tres Carmon

I bought 2 to use with my water irrigation pump and chose the 80 schedule because they are outdoors in the high desert sun. I couldn't find a better price around $7 until today when I see the price drop. I installed 2 fittings because I need to separate the pipe that goes into the sewer and the pipe that goes to my manifold so I can easily move the pump to the winter room. Without unions this is almost impossible. They require a fairly large wrench to tighten and I haven't been able to stop the leaks by hand tightening. If there is one downside it's the o-ring which seems pretty flimsy for a joint of this size but it seems to work.
