Poor quality for the price

Installed it a few times to prepare for a hike. This is mainly used to cover a camping picnic table. Given the price, I wasn't impressed with the build quality of the fly itself, as well as some of the kit's components. The measurements are: 11'7" from the spine line (from the top of the fabric to the end of the fabric, not the loop) and 51" from the spine line to the horizontal edge closest to the bottom, so it is no true 12 x 10. First the pros, then the cons. PROS: It's lightweight. Correctly fixed and tensioned, it is calm enough even in strong winds. It's not hot underneath so I find it blocks most of the UV. - Nice gray color CONS - I didn't find any problems with the stitching but the eyelets are not placed neatly. I am using adjustable canvas rods as the main support for this fly and I see potential flaws in this area. I'm counting on a lifetime warranty to cover this if it fails. The picture posted shows one of the BETTER placed grommets. The included mini carabiners are junk. Gates that are supposed to close with a spring actually stay open unless you manually close each one. I will replace them. The supplied pegs are by no means long or strong enough to secure this fly in anything but fine weather and the best ground conditions. - Cloth bags are a joke. I've never seen a duffel bag that doesn't close properly, but it doesn't. For some reason the bag material sticks to the drawstring and it actually takes a fair amount of force to close it tightly. Pockets for things should be a convenience, not an inconvenience. I have addons so the originals go, go, go. Since I don't get an alternative in time for departure, I'll stick with this setup. About $40 is overpriced for the quality. 20-25€ would be more reasonable. If I had paid $50 for it he would have returned immediately.
