The screws you screw the legs into have been painted black. For this reason, the legs are not screwed. I worked with one leg for about an hour and eventually, after pacing and a lot of pain, kept one leg down to base. I tried unscrewing this leg and am trying to do the same for each screw. The second screw broke off after about 30 minutes, rendering it unusable. I opened the second box thinking I might have an extra one, but unfortunately both have varnished screws. It's not worth it. spend some money and buy something else. Too bad they look beautiful and would be strong, but without legs they are meaningless. I hope they read some of these reviews and update their making process. [UPDATE May 10, 2018] Unbelievable. I see it very broadly and between companies rather. They exist. But hard to find. They care about their product and most importantly about their customers. I have received two coasters in original order quantity with replacement coasters as advertised. It contained a personal letter to me. The letter confirmed my conclusions about the factory and the production process. The manufacturing process was sorted out and the two stands I received had no problems attaching the legs. That kind of compassion for your product and your customers is amazing. Having been able to use stands, they are quite well designed and support my 24 inch monitors with no hesitation or issues. With such a commitment I would buy from Husky Mounts again.
