It is not listed as 100% polyester but it is. See photo. They resemble a very thin fabric shower curtain. I thought maybe I'd get one of the "good view" sheet sets, but that didn't happen. The paisley print is colorful but not even like the photo. I bought 12 sets of these sheets hoping to find a good pair for myself. I give up! I'll never know how people get them on the first try with such good reviews. They were torn, the seams were unraveling, the threads were falling out in clumps, the polyester sheets were leaking through like tights, the pillowcases were missing. and what looks like wavy bleach spots all over. They also have a VERY strong chemical odor that can damage your sinuses. It could be the plastic they are packaged in. I've washed the green kit which "looks great" 3 times and the smell is almost starting to fade a little but the colors and threads will last a lifetime. Wash in cold water on low heat, always using 1 cup of vinegar to preserve the color and remove any fancy things in it. I cannot recommend these sheets or this seller for the reasons listed including incorrect information about the material. If you do this you will be asked to ship it back to Amazon, which we already know we can do! 1 star for the colors as I have no choice (still not as shown in the pictures). I found something to use these leaves for. I cut them and use the material for crafting.
