I bought it for my husband. He has severe pain in his shoulder and arm on his left side. He has a physical job and for a while it really annoyed him. The pain seems to radiate to the shoulder area, so it appears to be more of a muscle or nerve issue. He tried a premium bandage but couldn't get it to fit properly, so we went in search of a shoulder brace. PROS: He's been wearing it for a few weeks now. He says it helps build some pressure and bring some relief, but it's definitely not the solution to all problems. He loves that he can freeze it while sitting, walking or even while working and that not having to carry an ice pack is a huge benefit as he might not be able to do this often at work. Because he doesn't have to hold an ice pack, he can get the most out of the icing without causing any additional irritation or strain. According to him, that alone is worth the price. CONS: He wished the sleeve was longer and the strap or bottom band was tighter around the arm. The sleeve and strap sizing doesn't give the full compression feel he was hoping for. I didn't really see a much better compression option that also has room for an ice/heat pack, which is something to consider and maybe the seller should improve. He said it's not that he was "loose," it was just that he wished the sleeve was longer with tighter compression around the entire shoulder. Overall he is happier with it than without. This brings some relief and before that he couldn't find anything to help him and from time to time he went insane. The body straps fit and conform snugly to my husband's body. It fits someone taller than my husband, but not by much. For reference, my husband is 6 feet 11.5 inches tall and weighs 225 pounds. As far as I can tell this seems like a good size that fits best. Otherwise it will be returned. ● Watch the video to learn how to adjust and wear it. For your information. If you don't feel properly adjusted, you may need to adjust the strap at the back as well. Not just the front chest strap. They have to be even. If you don't do this, the shoulder brace may come off the center of the shoulder and cause more pain.
