On the good side: the plastic case is heavy, the bracket is detachable for installation (you'll have to find out for yourself - unscrew the 2 screws that match the connectors holding the bracket case), and the cord is large and long enough to get anywhere in the garage. Of the minuses: the circuit breaker is installed in a box at the end of the connector, which is not as shown in the picture. I wanted to run it through my workbench, and even after removing the case I still had to make a fairly large hole to fit it. Retracting requires multiple attempts to fully roll it in. Once I installed and tried it I had no intention of taking it off and returning it. At least it manages an extra outlet when I need to vacuum cars or run a pressure washer, but it doesn't work as well as my retractable air line or hose. I think it's easier than winding the cord by hand. It's not bad, but I wouldn't buy it again.
