GARBAGE! Not 8 AWG: Lighting and Electrical
Unless they used a special specialty wire I wouldn't trust its 8 gauge spec. The insulation is 8 AWG, but the wire is 10 AWG if that's the case. Mates and crimps into 10 AWG connectors. Pulls directly out of 8 AWG terminals even when using a hydraulic crimping tool with 8 AWG crimp dies. I even tried switching to a 12 gauge chip and pressing the 8 AWG connector onto it. Still slipped out. Would definitely not recommend her. I certainly wouldn't trust them with the 40 amp fuse they come with.
