I've been using this camera for about 2 months. The branding on the camera says Boblov, but the advert here on Revain calls it OneBird HD 1296P A7 64GB. Let me start with the good: this camera captures video and sound very well. Clarity on both is perfect. Now for the not so good: When the device arrived, the camera in the docking station would not charge at times. Most of the time the camera didn't charge in the dock; sometimes it would. The spare battery was always charged in the dock. I emailed the seller and he sent me a new dock. The new dock has the same problem. The device will charge if the USB cable is connected directly to the camera and not to the docking station. So I ripped off the little rubber plug from the USB slot to allow the device to fit in the dock with the USB connected to the camera and not the dock. Every time I leave the car I have to unplug and plug it back in to use it. Batteries do not charge well when the device is used as a dash cam. When you turn off the device, the battery will charge normally. When charged while in use, it will sometimes charge, but more often it will almost completely discharge when not plugged in. My camera is set to "Car DVR" mode, so it behaves like a dash cam and should turn on and start recording when I start the car. Sometimes it doesn't turn on at all, sometimes it turns on and doesn't start recording automatically, and sometimes it works as it should and turns on and starts recording. So another issue is making sure the camera is recording every time I start the car. The next problem is that there is no way to override the "Auto-Off" feature when you unplug it. Every time I get out of the car and use the camera as a body camera, I have to wait 10 seconds for it to turn off and then restart. There should actually be a way to disable this feature in the menu, or at least override it if you wish. Another problem is the instructions. English wasn't the primary language of the person who wrote it, so it's difficult to understand. Many transactions are not covered at all. The good thing is that the camera menus are easy to navigate, so figuring out how everything works isn't too hard. My advice: Spend the extra $100-$150 and get a better brand.
