This skirt is good, longer than most sports, just above the knee or knee length depending on the child's leg length. The waist is adjustable, it's tall and slim so it hits just above the knee for a size 12 with an adjusted waist. She is 4 feet 9 inches and 8 years old. I could buy maybe 10 but then I'm not sure how long they will be. She can wear this for a while. Will buy more as it is good quality and she loved it. She said it was comfortable to wear and liked the zipper on the side.
