My Senior Rescue Dog is an amazing pup with as many health issues as good qualities. Finding food that met their needs and desires was a challenge. She has very few teeth, irritable bowel disease and a particular taste in food. She's been eating canned food since she was rescued. She then developed IBD and did not eat/vomit much and lost a lot of weight. The vet gave her Hills food. She liked canned food but didn't like the slightly cheaper dry food that we rehydrated. After researching Iams we found it to be safe for IBD. We bought several cans and she really liked it. It didn't cause her any gastrointestinal problems. It's been a few months now and still no problems. I personally can't attest to the taste, but she loves it. It's quite thick so I cut it for her. It also doesn't have that gross canned dog food smell. The price is affordable and my girl has gained weight. This meal is a good choice.
