My dog eats it for canning

My 13 year old rescue dog is pretty picky but she eats this food. The fact that it doesn't contain peas, lentils or potatoes (at least not as main ingredients) is a huge plus. In case you haven't heard, the FDA has raised concerns about dogs eating peas, lentils, and potatoes. Apparently they cause heart disease in some breeds. Maybe you have.

Reformulated, not just chicken!

I've been using this feed for many, many years without any problems. My dog is allergic to beef and when I first bought it a long time ago it was an all chicken product. It recently sold out during the pandemic and I almost never had to use Hill's Science Diet Chicken, no problem. But more expensive. I saw it was back in stock and went there again and my dog got sick. Diarrhea and stomach problems like crazy. I finally re-read the ingredients list on this jar and now it says "meat offal"…

Boxers approved for canning

Had to switch to IAM after Hills changed packaging and prices. Luckily, IAM fit the bill. Good dog food at a reasonable price. My dog Kona, a boxer, was not doing well. He refused to eat dry food and drink water. I first bought Core wet food which was a wet patty. Goes well with dry food. The dog ate it. Got better. The core retailed for $3 a can. The dog hooked up a little wet with her dry. So I tried the IAM pie which is much cheaper. It doesn't mix as well with dry as it doesn't mix very…

Iams dog food is the best. No questions!

There is no other dog food on the market that is as good as Iams. It's simply the only dog food you need. I've finally found a dog food that my dog will always eat, even when he's not feeling well. It's even delicious. How do I know? My dog goes straight to the bowl and won't stop and think about it like other dog food. My dog recently became ill and lost all interest in food. He is 15 years old. The appetizer taste of lamb brought him back to a healthy diet. Thanks Iams! If you want, you can…

Let's see how they like it in a few weeks.

My dogs have only used it for the first day and so far they love it. But anyone who has had dogs for a while, especially finicky dogs (like my Yorkie, don't get me wrong, I'm crazy about them, but they can drive you crazy if you try to feed them something valuable). ). My Yorkies and Maltese love food (especially kibble) for about 2 weeks and then turn their noses up at it. I'll try to give updates so you know if you like it. I like giving Iams to my dogs as I feel it is of pretty good quality…

Picky Dog with Stomach Problems Approved

My Senior Rescue Dog is an amazing pup with as many health issues as good qualities. Finding food that met their needs and desires was a challenge. She has very few teeth, irritable bowel disease and a particular taste in food. She's been eating canned food since she was rescued. She then developed IBD and did not eat/vomit much and lost a lot of weight. The vet gave her Hills food. She liked canned food but didn't like the slightly cheaper dry food that we rehydrated. After researching Iams we

Not the best ingredients but well priced and wows

All four of my large mixed breed dogs love this food. The ingredients are adequate but not that good. You have a "Meat Guts" puzzle. When a by-product like beef or chicken is mentioned, at least you know it all comes from the same source. Which isn't great. It is what is left after the meat has been processed in the vat and is a material that cannot legally be used for anything. Consider it about 3 generations lower in "Pink Goo" quality. In general, if not even designated as a specific animal,
