All four of my large mixed breed dogs love this food. The ingredients are adequate but not that good. You have a "Meat Guts" puzzle. When a by-product like beef or chicken is mentioned, at least you know it all comes from the same source. Which isn't great. It is what is left after the meat has been processed in the vat and is a material that cannot legally be used for anything. Consider it about 3 generations lower in "Pink Goo" quality. In general, if not even designated as a specific animal, it is the worst quality product that can still be designated as meat. Next come the rice brewers. Rice is actually not that good for dogs and has recently been found to contain arsenic. Rice brewing is a by-product of the production of beer and rice wine. Mostly pieces of rice that have fallen on the ground or have been misused or left over. Many cheap beer makers simply make a beer flavored product and then add distilled rice alcohol to spice it up. No corn, no wheat, no soy and some named proteins with by-products, I've certainly seen a lot worse, and frankly better food (no grain, named proteins, no by-products) you have to pay a lot more or make it yourself do. I'm a bit picky about pet food, and I agree with that for the part of my pet food. Three of my four dogs and my two cats are over 100 human years old and have survived their joints, teeth and hearing. so i'm doing something right
