Great for any traveler (but especially business and international travelers)

Do you pack a lot of electronics when you travel? Are you constantly confronted with the fact that there aren't enough sockets in the hotel room to plug in everything you want, or if there are, then they aren't in the right places? Need a product that works internationally? Would you like to be the hero when your friends forget their adapters or at the airport when 4 people want to use the same socket? If these are your problems, you need this extension! I've traveled with several different power strips over the years and this is my favorite so far (my most recent, the Simran SM-60, with three outlets is my second favorite and a great choice for people who need more outlets rather than USB ports are not required). This version is compact, allows simultaneous connection of two devices + two USB devices (1.0A for phones and 2.4A for tablets) and supports every form of connection that I have come across while traveling the world so far. The splendor of versatile ports means you can use the socket at your bed or desk that your lamp or alarm clock is plugged into, and then you can plug another device into the extension cord and still use it! This power strip also acts as a surge protector and will work on both 120AC (US) and 240AC (overseas) (NOTE: This is NOT a converter so any device plugged into it must be rated for the current you are drawing). Purpose of use. Most modern electronics (phones, computers) are designed for both options and don't need converters, but things like hair dryers are needed. You should check your specific equipment.) I only have two complaints about this extension cord, but I don't think it's worth deducting a star: (1) The cord on it is quite short, which can make it difficult to plug outlets behind furniture to use. However, the short cord is still MUCH superior to similar products that don't have a cord at all (I'm looking at you Belkin). (2) The plug you insert into the wall outlet only works in US outlets. So when you travel around the world you also need to travel with an adapter that will allow you to plug it into international outlets. It would be great if this feature could be built into it, but for now I just travel with a pluggable universal adapter that gets the job done.
