I've only used it twice but I already like it. The decanter is amazing. It's comforting to know I can drop it and the worst that can happen is a dent. I decided to return to the French Press because my BonaVida kept crashing and I don't want to spend $200 on a coffee maker that makes a regular cup of coffee. Unlike a machine, replacing the piston when a part breaks is not too expensive. My aeropress is great but too labor intensive for a work week. The traditional French plunger produces too much mud for me. The Espropress' piston system is great. Paper filters look ridiculously expensive, but I'm sure I can find a DIY hack. Even without a paper filter, this method delivers a fairly clean cup of coffee. I've read some complaints about the amount of coffee that goes unused. This is minimal and I would still never finish a cup of French Press because of the debris on the bottom. The first impression is extremely positive. I can't believe it took anyone this long to come up with this idea.
